The self-discipline and self-respect which Martial Arts develop can provide your child with the skills and mindset necessary to resist peer pressure.
SELF DEFENCE (SPECIALLY FOR GIRLS) :
Self defence and self protection are an important priority for females. Self-defence is a countermeasure that involves defending the well-being of oneself or of another from harm. Self defence is all about using your intellect — not your fists.
The main objective of self defence training is to equip the girl students with useful strategies to defend themselves from spontaneous or pre-mediated violence and abuse. Learning self defence strategies not only involves physically tackling threats to safety but also the ability to identify and avoid potentially unsafe circumstances. These strategies cultivate in individuals the ability to remain alert yet calm at all times. Therefore, self defence training will assist girl students to become more aware of their surrounding and to not feel helpless in any situation.
In our school girl students from classes I to XII are given compulsory training in Self defence for 40 mins every week.
